UNIX INSTALLATION

                                

1-Type "gunzip < mariflow_unix.tar.gz | tar xvf -"

2-Type "source install" (for sh shell, type ". install").

            Choose the directory where you want to install the software from the

            dialog window.

3-You will see a window with message "Installation Complete."

 

 

 

                           WINDOWS/NT INSTALLATION

 

1-Extract the file "mariflow_windows.zip" using "WinZIP"                         

2-Type "install".

            Choose the directory where you want to install the software from the

            dialog window.

3-You will see a window with message "Installation Complete."

 

 

 

After you install the software, the following directories and files

should have been created by the installation program:

 

NOTE: For the directories the Unix representation is given here.

      InstallationDirectory is the directory you have installed the software.

 

  1-InstallationDirectory/ClassFiles (All class files needed to run the software).

 

  2-InstallationDirectory/Src (Source Files).

 

  3-InstallationDirectory/mariweb (Web page for mariflow).

 

  4-InstallationDirectory/MARCA (Directory to run MARCA).

 

    a-InstallationDirectory/MARCA/configure (MARCA configuration).

      Type "source configure" to configure the MARCA. (". configure" in sh).

      Type "configure" on Windows.

 

    b-InstallationDirectory/MARCA/run (starts the MARCA).

      Type "source run" to start the MARCA. (". run" in sh).

      Type "run" on Windows.

 

  5-InstallationDirectory/UMIA (Directory for UMIA tool.)

   

    a-InstallationDirectory/UMIA/run (Opens UMIA tool.)

      Type "source run [polling_interval]" to run.

 

      [polling_interval] is an integer value indicating what interval UMIA

      polls UMIA Server to receive newly arrived activities. (It is optional

      and default value is the last entered value or 10 secs if no value exists).

 

      Type "run [polling_interval]" on Windows.

 

  6-InstallationDirectory/UMIA_Server (Directory for Application Server.)

           

    a-InstallationDirectory/UMIA_Server/configure (Configuration Tool for UMIA

      Application Server).

      Type "source configure" to configure the UMIA_Server.

      Type "configure" on windows.

     

    b-InstallationDirectory/UMIA_Server/run (Starts UMIA Application Server).

      Type "source run" to start the UMIA.

      Type "run" on Windows.

 

  7-InstallationDirectory/DBConf (Directory DBInitialization).

   

    a-InstallationDirectory/DBConf/localdbconf (Local DB initialization tool).

      Type "source localdbconf" to initialize your local database.

      Type "localdbconf" on Windows.

     

    b-InstallationDirectory/DBConf/centdbconf (Central DB initialization tool.)

      Type "source centdbconf" to initialize central database.

      Type "centdbconf" on Windows.

 

  8-InstallationDirectory/SU (Directory for super user tool).

 

    a-InstallationDirectory/SU/run (Super User tool.) 

      Type "source run" to start Super user tool.

      Type "run" on Windows.

 

  9-InstallationDirectory/TATool (Directory for Trusted Authority tool).

 

    a-InstallationDirectory/TATool/run (Start Trusted Authority tool).

      Type "source run" to start Trusted Authority tool.

      Type "run" on Windows.

 

 10-InstallationDirectory/DefinitionTool (Directory for Process Definition Tool).

 

    a-InstallationDirectory/DefinitionTool/run (Opens Process Definition Tool).

      Type "source run" to open Process Definition Tool.

      Type "run" on Windows.

     

    b-InstallationDirectory/DefinitionTool/Certification.tdef

 

      Textual definition of Certification process. (Central database parameters and

      domain definitions should be changed).

     

    c-InstallationDirectory/DefinitionTool/images (Contains image files that Definition Tool uses).
