Tepe Teknolojik Servisler A.S., is a ten years old medical IT solutions company owned by Bilkent Holding; and is aimed to develop medium and large scale, turn-key firmware projects and provide system integration services.
The main subject areas are Medical Informatics and Health Information Systems. Tepe Technology has became one of the leading company in Hospital Information Management Systems in Turkey with its numerous applications in hospitals. CorTTex® the Integrated Hospital Management Information System Environment, developed by Tepe Teknoloji, is a novel, advanced approach to healthcare informatics. It brings together most advanced technologies of Computer Medicine, Information Processing, Financial Management, Resource Planning, Data Communication, and Clinical Systems, to form a unique solution to everyday problems of Health and Patient Care organizations. Tepe Technology was awarded as the owner of "The Best Software Project of the Year" by Interpro, with their "TAF Rehabilitation and Care Center Information System" project, in Interpro Informatics Awards 2000, awards for value added, high standard ICT projects. Evaluation had been made among 152 projects in 12 categories.
Tepe Teknoloji is seriously following the proceedings in medical informatics and healthcare IT. It is one of the founders of HL7 (Health Level Seven) Turkey and members of HIMSS (Health Information Management Systems and Society) , IHE (Integrating Health Enterprise), MS-HUGe (Microsoft Health Users Group), IEEE (International Electric and Electronics Engineers Society), RSNA and ECR . Tepe Teknoloji has been performing R&D in Medical IT Technologies (such as Electronic Health Records, Virtual Healthcare Environment, PACS, Tele-medicine, tele-radiology, tele-pathology) and investing for studying and implementing international healthcare IT standards (such as HL7, DICOM, CPT-IV, ICD-9-CM / ICD 10, LOINC, SNOMED, NOMESCO) for 10 years. Tepe Teknoloji believes in the importance of quality control and assurance at almost all levels and steps of its process cycle, applies various QA measures and methodologies and also has been certified by the TUV Rheinland to be ISO 9001:2000 registered in early 2003. The success of an information system development project depends on the quality of the work performed by the project team at the highest level of collaboration as a team without experiencing overheads. Knowing the importance of the quality concept, Tepe Teknoloji aims at getting CMM III certification for its information system development processes.
