IPA SA is the main Romanian Institute of Research and Design in informatics - automation, currently employing about 240 people. Based in Bucharest, it has 6 subsidiaries in the main Romanian towns. It is founded in 1960. IPAs specialists have established direct and permanent relations with most noteworthy companies and institutions in Romania and abroad, placed in various industrial sectors including Information Technology and eHealth. IPA SA team is very professional, including software and system engineers and Professors from Polytechnical University from Bucharest. IPA SAs expertise can be summarized as follows:

• Over 15 years experience in IT for diferrent applications, Expert systems, computerized and reporting systems;
• Over 10 years experience in Informatics Systems for different fields; Multimedia Information Systems; vocational training and e-learning activities; Technical expertise for risk factors evaluation; Organisation of conferences, seminars, workshops;

IPA SA has participated and cooperated within the following R&D European projects (FP5, eureka, thermie,Leonardo da vinci, inco copernicus, phare):

• Informatic acquisition and teletransmission system dedicated to pre-hospital emergence assistance - SATURG
• Telematic system for home monitoring of patients with chronically diseases, using wireless components - TECRON
• Ecographical Dopler study, optimized with computerized tools and patient telediagnosis;
